ZooKids - 1st through 4th Grades

Staff Contact: Mindy Boysaw

ZooKids Ministries
is dedicated to presenting the gospel to 1st through 4th grade children. Our goal is for each child to make a personal commitment to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All our activities and programs are designed to foster a young believer’s personal walk with the Lord from the moment they pray to receive Christ to the time they enter their teenage years. By providing on-going activities, we help foster friendships and more accountability among fellow young believers. We believe a firm commitment to Christ, a strong Biblical foundation and a core group of Christian friends are essential elements in every Christian’s life. It is our desire to partner with parents in providing these basic needs for every child in the body of Christ.

ALL YEAR for ZOO FRIENDS

ZooFriends
ZooFriends involves 1st through 4th graders going “wild” for Jesus on Sunday mornings. Our goal is to win kids to Christ at an early age and teach the importance of obeying God’s Word. A great discipleship team has been prayerfully put in place to teach and train these young lives to follow Christ and live by God’s Word.

Each Sunday, ZooFriends begins with an opening celebration and worship time. Kids will then be in grade level classrooms for Bible explorations, projects with purpose, snack-it cafe and great games! Our great teaching team uses a unique approach to Christian education called active learning. We teach chronilogically through the 12 Eras of the Bible making each story they learn contextual and relevant. The curriculum in written by our staff and designed to integrate with the other children's ministries at the church. Each class participates in a variety of fun and memorable learning experiences that help them understand who God is, what his design for their life is and what the story of the Bible is. Our motto is : May God's Word be written on my heart and seen everyday in my life.

Sunday morning classes are at 9:30AM and 11:05AM.  Children may only attend one of the hours that classes are offered.  We encourage all children at this age to attend service with their family and then attend classes when their parents and siblings attend class.  Please note that all children that are entering 5th grade and older have Sunday Morning Classes ONLY at 11:05AM.

Structured in a club format much like Scouts, kidz win weekly, monthly, and yearly awards all centered around making sure every young boy or girl is fully equipped for every good work God has prepared for them to do.
