Baby and Me is a non-profit maternity home located in Tomball and Magnolia, Texas. They have capacity to serve 6 residents and are welcome to stay until they have an education and job that allows them to be financially independent. Baby and Me does not receive governmental grants; therefore, we look to individuals, businesses, foundations, churches, and civic groups for funding and volunteer support. K-Life is a community-wide, interdenominational Christian ministry of discipleship and fellowship for youth and their families. Through a variety of activities (weekly clubs, small group Bible studies, mission trips, ski trips, and monthly events), K-Life kids grow in their faith and have lots of fun in the process. Our Mission is to help people love God, His Word and His creation; to help them become more self-sufficient and family-centered; and to undergird the establishment and growth of the local church. Mission Backpack's goal for the 2009-10 school year was to help out families in need in the Magnolia Parkway Elementary school zone. There are approximately 200 students living in poverty conditions. It is a yearly struggle for them to purchase backpacks and school supplies. We are so excited that we exceeded our goal to supply a new backpack and school supplies for each of these students and to help support the financial needs of the teachers as well.
